Reading a scent description
Family, notes and intensity
We describe each scent by family, main notes and intensity: light, medium or strong. Notes describe how the scent smells, not the ingredients. A lemon scent is a fragrance with a lemon character, not lemon juice. Every scent we supply has its own original name.

Scent and carrier fit
The same fragrance behaves differently on each carrier
When you shortlist scents, tell us the format. We confirm which scents suit it and adjust the fragrance amount or formula for that carrier.

Can we use our own scent name?
Yes. On your packaging, our library scent can carry your own name. The reference code stays the same for reorders.
Can the same scent be used across several formats?
Yes, with a format-specific adjustment where needed so it performs consistently across your range.
How strong are your scents?
Each scent has an intensity guide. Strength also follows the format and the fragrance amount, which we set during sampling.
Do you offer refills in the same scents?
Yes. Refills are produced with the same scent references.
