The Coman car air freshener factory
How Coman Produces Car Fragrance Products
A car air freshener can look simple, but even a paper hanger passes through printing, cutting, fragrance application, sealing and packing, and a vent clip or a glass diffuser has more parts again. Here are the production stages we run, how they connect, and where quality is checked along the way.
- Eight production stages
- 19 car fragrance formats
- Checked against the approved sample

Eight stages under one plan
Each product family runs through the stages it needs, planned and checked as one line from material to carton. A paper hanger goes through printing, cutting, fragrance loading and packing; a glass diffuser through dosing, filling, sealing and assembly.
- 01Fragrance preparation
Fragrance oils received, checked against reference, measured and dosed for each product.
All scented products - 02Printing
Artwork printed on fragrance board, felt, labels and packaging.
Paper, felt, packs - 03Die and laser cutting
Printed sheets cut to shape, hang holes punched.
Paper, felt, cards - 04Molding and forming
Plastic housings, clips and polymer pieces molded; ceramic and wooden parts formed or finished.
Vent and visor clips, solids, holders - 05Fragrance loading
Fragrance applied to boards, pads and fiber; blended into gel or polymer.
Paper, felt, inserts, cans, gel - 06Filling and sealing
Liquids filled into bottles, cartridges and reservoirs; plugs, caps and seals fitted.
Diffusers, perfumes, membranes, sprays, refills - 07Assembly
Clips, housings, inserts, cords, caps and devices assembled.
Vent clips, diffusers, electric devices, gift sets - 08Packing
Products sealed in pouches, carded, boxed and packed into cartons.
